Terms and Conditions

The terms that apply when you browse, enquire about or book travel services through Travel Taxi.

Last updated: 1 August 2026

1

Acceptance and scope

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to the Travel Taxi website and your use of Travel Taxi travel-planning, enquiry, quotation and booking-support services. They apply to tours, taxis, stays, activities, guides, transfers and custom itineraries offered or arranged through Travel Taxi.

By browsing the website, contacting us, submitting an enquiry, accepting a quote or making a payment, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms for yourself and, where applicable, for every traveller included in your booking. If you do not agree, do not use the website or proceed with a booking.

2

Travel Taxi role and supplier services

Travel Taxi may provide travel information, planning assistance, quotation, booking coordination and customer support. Some travel services are supplied by independent hotels, transport operators, drivers, guides, activity hosts, venues, payment providers and other third parties. The identity and scope of a supplier service will be set out in the relevant quote, itinerary, voucher or confirmation where available.

A third-party supplier may apply its own conditions of carriage, admission, cancellation, safety, check-in, conduct and liability. Those terms apply in addition to these terms. Where a supplier term conflicts with these terms in relation to that supplier service, the supplier term applies to the extent of the conflict.

3

Website content, enquiries and quotes

Website content, including routes, itineraries, descriptions, images, prices, durations, availability and inclusions, is provided for planning purposes and is not an offer capable of acceptance. An enquiry does not reserve a vehicle, room, guide, activity, ticket or travel date.

A written quote will state the proposed services, price, inclusions, exclusions, payment schedule and any booking-specific conditions. Quotes remain subject to availability and correction of errors. Travel Taxi may revise a quote before confirmation if dates, passenger count, route, vehicle, hotel, taxes, tolls, parking, permits, supplier costs or other trip details change.

4

Booking confirmation and payments

A booking is confirmed only when Travel Taxi issues written confirmation and receives the payment required by the applicable quote or confirmation. Until then, availability and price may change. You must pay all amounts by the dates and methods stated in the confirmed booking. Failure to pay on time may result in release of the reservation, cancellation of unfulfilled services or additional supplier charges.

Unless expressly included in writing, quoted amounts may exclude personal expenses, meals, entry tickets, permits, insurance, tips, room service, incidental hotel charges, tolls, parking, state taxes, local charges or other items not identified as included. You remain responsible for such amounts and for any damage, cleaning, waiting, diversion or extra-use charges caused by you or your travelling party.

5

Traveller responsibilities

  • Provide complete and accurate names, contact details, pickup and drop points, travel dates, passenger count, luggage details, identity details and any information needed to arrange the service.
  • Review the quote, itinerary, vouchers, pickup instructions, inclusions, exclusions and payment terms before accepting the booking, and notify Travel Taxi promptly of any error or change.
  • Carry valid identification, permits, tickets, health documentation, visas and other documents required for the journey, accommodation, activity or destination.
  • Arrive at the communicated reporting time and comply with reasonable driver, hotel, guide, activity-provider, venue and safety instructions.
  • Tell us in advance about mobility requirements, medical needs, children travelling, excess luggage, pets, accessibility needs or any other requirement that may affect the suitability or delivery of a service.
6

Changes, cancellations and refunds

All change and cancellation requests must be sent through Travel Taxi support channels with the booking reference and traveller name. A request is not effective until Travel Taxi confirms it in writing. Changes are subject to availability, revised pricing and supplier terms.

Our Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy form part of these terms. Cancellation charges, non-refundable deposits and refund eligibility depend on the confirmed service, notice period, supplier terms and costs already committed. No refund is due for unused services, late arrival, no-show or voluntary itinerary changes unless expressly confirmed in writing.

7

Travel risk, delays and force majeure

Travel involves inherent uncertainty. Timings, routes, sightseeing, accommodation, vehicles and activities may be affected by weather, traffic, road or airport conditions, mechanical issues, public events, strikes, health events, government action, security conditions, supplier failure, closures or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.

Where such a circumstance affects a confirmed service, Travel Taxi will use reasonable efforts to communicate available options and coordinate a practical alternative where feasible. Travel Taxi is not responsible for consequential loss, missed connections, loss of enjoyment, additional accommodation, personal expenses or losses caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

8

Conduct, safety and removal from services

You must not act in a way that endangers people or property, disrupts a service, violates applicable law or causes a supplier reasonably to refuse service. Suppliers may deny boarding, entry, accommodation or participation where safety, health, conduct, documentation, capacity or legal requirements justify doing so.

If a traveller is refused or removed for these reasons, Travel Taxi and the affected supplier may retain applicable charges and are not responsible for alternative travel, accommodation or other costs that result.

9

Liability, complaints and governing terms

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that limitation, Travel Taxi is liable only for direct loss arising from its own proven failure to exercise reasonable care in providing its services, and not for acts or omissions of independent suppliers or for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss.

Please report a service issue as soon as possible during travel so that Travel Taxi has a reasonable opportunity to assist. If an issue remains unresolved, contact us with the booking reference and supporting details. These terms, the confirmed quote, itinerary and supplier terms comprise the agreement for the relevant booking. We may update these terms from time to time; the version published when you use the site or make a booking applies unless a confirmed booking states otherwise.
